The ultimate TT1 guide.
Hey everyone, as you may have seen in my other post I have decided to come crawling back to you guys after TT2 blew up the other day, but to be honest everyone still knows TT1 is better
So I decided to dig up the old guide that was stickied on the old forum, and I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me finish it? It still has a LOT to go, I haven't even started the building strategies section! I've been on a few times recently, and the playing style has changed a lot in the time I've been gone, people are building more quarters and FASTER too! I think a lot of my strategies are out of date now (well, I haven't been winning with them, that's for sure!), so I'm going to need some user input from you guys to get this thing up to date and rolling again!
Here's a link to the incomplete guide for anyone who wants to take a look at it:
docs[DOT]google[DOT]com/document/d/1XMEnohhAkmNn8L74gQ30m8oHdJA3mtqn4ybuk3s1b7w/edit?pli=1
(I have to put the [DOT]s in there because I'm apparently not allowed to put links up here for 7 days, so you'll just need to replace the [DOT]s with a . )
Unfortunately Google Docs had an update recently that made a bit of the formatting go off, so I might redo this in PDF sometime. Feedback is always welcome

Re: The ultimate TT1 guide.
Hi I decided to come gathering back to you guys myself. Would anyone mind giving me some tips as to what the current strategies are? The most quarters I've ever seen made were 6 and that was done by myself and then copied a bit, though not often. Are people building 7-9 now? Or is it still 4-6 like before?

Though I haven't been on much, 5 is still the most common. 6 and 7+ strategies are usually too hard to pull off well without a ridiculously good spot

6 is not hard, 7 is pushing it and 8 is just stupid. 6 doesnt take too much longer than 5 and it gives quite a great advantage if done fast enough. 7+ takes too long and the hotkeys get a bit uncontrollable . 4-5 is best if your not very skilled or rusty.

I remember when I and some friends started doing 6q and then everyone followed and then I went 'meh now this is boring AND no one is on' and left. Not thinking of returning.
