Unfortunately TT1 hasn't really been a game for quite some time now, but Sune has since released it open source, which is some sort of condolence but it has still been a sad time without TT.

There were some people trying to revive the game via Steam recently, but it is looking like it may just be another false hope that occasionally crops up on this forum. If we're ever going really get this game back we need something in the order of $15,000 USD to pay off some of Oddlabs' debt and fund them to completely re-work the game to get it up to modern standards. There are still some ideas floating around of a Kickstater campaign or something of the like to try and raise that money, but for now TT1 is 6 feet under.

I tried to download the game but i had no luck what so ever. So no one can play at all now?

Good good, would be better with some TT to play though...

People can play it, but you can't play any multiplayer, sooo basically the best part of the game is gone. And as of now it seems to be impossible for a bootstrap server to be setup, so we're pretty much just playing the waiting game here until something happens.

Yeah TT is currently dead, and there are only small hopes of revival - very small . I do play single player every now and again though just for the memories.

Man it's good seeing old players saying hi. Good to see the community is far from dead even though the game may be.

There's a download link somewhere, I'm sure someone on the forum knows where it is (I've forgotten).

surprised you would say anything bec. these forums and basically everything tt related is dead. very rarely is anything ever said on here. maybe a topic shows up and people talk for a day or so and then no one says anything for a few weeks or even months.

I recently came back when I stumbled upon a full version Arcadetown disk containing the full version and registration code for my old tribal trouble game I had when it was brand new back then. I've tried playing the tutorial and campaign or singleplayer, but everytime I try it tells me the game host connection is lost or something around those words so I've never been able to even play singleplayer. Any way to fix this?

Sounds odd though, perhaps download another copy of TT Trial version and use one of our reg codes?

To get a member's copy of TT working you'll need to manually paste a reg file in there. I've uploaded my own in a global announcement thread called HOW TO GET A REGISTERED COPY OF TT WORKING, check it out at the top of any forum!
