So, as I personally am getting much better, I doubt I'm going to be on the Top Players list anytime soon, but I know I'll be on this one. So I'll start out with 10 and then edit as y'all get more than 10. This is what I have so far, tell me y'all's opinion.

who is 007?

He is an oldie that came back on, he's pretty good, got a forum account. He is almost as fast as me at building and does the same way I do, which is scary because I have worked on mine for so long and I thought I was the only person who could pull that kind of madness off. You should watch me build. LOL

I think im fast a 4q, im not the fastest at 5 tho haha.

my 4 q is the fastest I can get. 5 q is kinda random. I don't think they build thefastest. but I think I get the most peons in the shortest amount of time atthe beginning.

For me its not all the about getting the armory up first(although it helps) its about how fast you can start gathering and start taking out men.

for me now days, speed has almost nothing to do with it, it's all about seeing where your opponent is, judging how long he'll last and attack or defence for due to how much iron/wood/gatherers he has, do the same with myself to see who will last longer, see where all the chickens have spawned and estimate who will get them first AND who will get more in the long run, i sometimes watch their quarters to see if there's one making a cheif (non will come out of that one), i also check to see if there is a chance for sneaks and hit->run on their iron (i simultaniously look to see if i can cut off their chicken and sometimes iron - usually on medium) and HEAPS of other stuff i just do without thinking cause of practice...

to be the best you have to be able to do all of these things without spending too much time thinking about it, as well as building/attacking speed, however i believe speed is secondary to tactics but speed is still very important, most people now days have the speed, but no tactics (because of the lack of skill) and i guess im the opposite with no speed and some level of tactic (nowhere near where i used to be but ehh) ITS LIKE.. body building and nutrition.. you need both to be the best ;D

ANYWAY idk what im on about, 1. for speed is probably glow idk about everybody else, aztec and vodka are pretty fast as well

since our first 1v1s deathy I been workin on the other things. I block iron, I kill chicken gatherers, I kill quarters and I try to attack from all sides. ya my building is fine. I jus need to keep up wit the tactics which is y I like our 1v1s so much. the more I watch u the better I can get.

That's why you practice against easy ais... Just get to build a hundred times before they attack. And actually for me getting my armory up as fast as possible is gathering fast as possible, as I gather as soon as my armory gets done. Just saying, it's how I beat most at med.

Yeah I don't send peons into my armory anymore after i finish building except for chicken, I send them right to their resource

u were never faster than me... as of right now the ones I believe rival me in building r N/A and .:firefoot:. I think that for the longest time the 3 of us have been rivals of each other. always being close to each other in skill level and speed. usually spots determine which one wins. but now a days it depends more on who has been playing the most recently. in other words I will gradually b coming down as they go up.

glow is a level a head of everybody atm in terms of speed, so don't even compare yourself to glow -_-

(: <3 wat do u think is better? finishing before ur opponent but having like 40 peons to get resources or finishing mayb a smidge after or jus bout the same time and having roughly 80 peons? I can do either wit 5q. depending on my building.

im pretty fast at 5q but i'm ass at 4q

it depends on the situation, personally i dont like pressure atm cause im not very fast anymore, so i'd prefer the 80 peons and just outsmart my opponent in the long run.. but strategically 40 peons should be plenty to launch a strong rush or main wave attack.. it depends on how far away you and your opponent are as well and other factorrsssssssss, but yeah i wouldnt say one is better than the other, i'd say they're equal, you just need to know when and how to use them

the difference occurs in wat I gather wit. wit the 80 peons I do 25 10 20 20 but wit the 40 I do 10 5 10 10 I get more warriors quicker wit the 80 however wit the 5 q I get warriors quicker in general. i'll probably jus stick wit 4 q normal and the 5 q 80. if I'm going for 40 4 q is the better option and for 80 obviously 5. don't really need 6 anymore. but sometimes I like to make it for old times sake.
